Real case - Mr. & Mrs. Tsang of Community Care Service Voucher

We here at Active Global Specialised Caregivers has been providing quality, professional care services for families with elderlies in Hong Kong. In March 2020, we have become one of the Recoginsed Service Providers for the Social Welfare Department's Pilot Scheme on Community Care Service Voucher for the Elderly. We have been able to provide many different types of care services for over 100 voucher holders. In this video, we will share the story of the carer (Mrs. Tsang) and the patient, a Community Care Service Voucher holder using our services (Mr. Tsang, Parkinson's Disease patient). Mrs. Tsang has always hoped to take Mr. Tsang back home to take care of him, but she will have no choice but to do it alone. Active Global Featured on TVB Sunday Report Again!

Active Global has been once again featured on TVB’s Sunday Report!    The Sunday show talked about the Caregiver Course offered by Active Global, which aims to impart caregiving skills to foreign domestic helpers in Hong Kong, and better equip them in providing care to the elderly they are looking after.   The show also introduced an alternative to elderly care for families other than sending them to nursing homes - through hiring qualified Filipino Live-in Caregivers to provide one-on-one long-term care and companionship to the elderly, relieving the caregiving stress of families, while also allowing elderlies to age comfortably and with dignity in their own homes.   Please take some time to watch the show to learn more, thank you for your support!

Active Global Caregiver Marissa Featured on HK01 (香港01)

Active Global's Caregiver Marissa was featured on Hong Kong 01. Her employer -- Ted, a stroke patient, used to feel useless as he was unable to move around independently. After Marissa came, she helped and encorouged him to walk and be more independent, and Ted is forever thankful for Marissa's support on his journey to recovery. Graduates from Caregiver Course interviewed by Oriental Daily

On 24 June 2018, some of our graduates from the 6th batch of Active Global's Caregiving course were interviewed by Oriental Daily.    Active Global Specialised Caregivers Pte Ltd held a graduation ceremony for 216 graduates from the Caregiving Course on 24 June 2018. One of our graduates include Anton, mentioned that the topics covered in the Caregiving course, such as transferring an elderly from bed to whelechair, has allowed her to show higher quality of care for her 76-year-old employer. Active Global featured on TVB Sunday Report

With Hong Kong’s ageing population, the Government has advocated ageing in place and there has been an increasing demand of certified foreign caregivers. Since 2014, Active Global Specialised Caregiver Hong Kong has provided professional foreign live-in caregivers to deliver affordable one-on-one long-term care solutions for the elderly, to promote aging in place.    On 27 May 2018, some of Active Global’s Filipino Caregivers, were featured on TVB Channel. With their years of experience and skills in medical procedures such as nasogastric tube feeding and providing quality treatment of wounds, their care and professionalism towards the elderly have earned the praise of their family members.   One of our students from Active Global’s Corporate Social Responsibility (Caregiver Course) was also featured. Active Global Caregiver praised for good work

On 26 April 2018, one of our caregivers, Maria Veronica Tolentino De Castro, was featured by HK01 Community for her dedication and care towards her patient, along with the good relationship with her employers, Tse family.    Maria was commended for her initiative of making suggestions on how to improve the hygiene level of patient’s environment at home. Despite not being fluent in Cantonese language, she sought for ways to communicate with her patient to build a stronger relationship.
