Many types of dementia can be halted with appropriate treatment. People with moderate or advanced dementia typically need round-the-clock care. The care focuses on stimulating activities which will slow down cognitive decline, reduce risks of depression, and promote sleep at night. There is a clear focus on safety to prevent patients from wandering, harming themselves and others.

Respite Health Workers / Nurses
