On 13 June 2018, Active Global Hong Kong was featured by Ta Kung Pao News and HKET
The articles discussed about how Active Global Hong Kong is solving the current social challenges of Hong Kong, the ageing population. Even though families are dedicated to provide long-term care for the elderly in their home, the current solutions in Hong Kong may not be ideal, due to various limitations.
Being the first company in Hong Kong to hire overseas caregivers into Hong Kong, Active Global’s overseas live-in caregiver service provides long-term care solutions to the key challenges faced by many families, such as the insufficient caregiving skills and knowledge by carers, the limited financial capability to engage local respite nurses and the shortage of nurses in Hong Kong.

On 26 April 2018, one of our caregivers, Maria Veronica Tolentino De Castro, was featured by HK01 Community for her dedication and care towards her patient, along with the good relationship with her employers, Tse family.
Maria was commended for her initiative of making suggestions on how to improve the hygiene level of patient’s environment at home. Despite not being fluent in Cantonese language, she sought for ways to communicate with her patient to build a stronger relationship. She also spends quality time with the elderly to foster a stronger bond through self-initiated dance sessions.
Her attentiveness and responsibility towards Mr Tse have earned praises from others.
We are very proud to have our caregivers who are taking good care of our elderly in Hong Kong!
